With Upama’s help, CCF is purchasing 120 copies of the new comic book Menstrupedia. Already translated into Nepali, Menstrupedia, in a culturally sensitive way, aims to end the menstruation myth and help girls and their parents develop language to open up the conversation on this often misunderstood topic. CCF is raising $480 to purchase these books and will distribute them to Nepali girls and their mothers in all of our educational projects: at ACP, in the rural high school of Ghabesi and at our rural health care clinic in Baseri. Our goal is to continue to purchase and distribute hundreds of these every year for new girls just entering into our programs.
